Tamping is really the most inconsistent part of making espresso, and we wanted to turn that variable into a constant. It’s about giving you a mechanical guarantee that the puck is level and compressed every single time, so you can stop worrying about your technique and just focus on the shot.

We’ve built in a internal spring system that delivers a stable, vertical force and then resets with a really tactile snap. It removes the physical guesswork from the process, ensuring the pressure you apply is exactly the same whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out.

A broad support ring rests directly on the rim of your basket to keep the tamper perfectly flat while you work. It’s a simple bit of geometry that prevents the "tilted puck" that ruins so many extractions, making it virtually impossible to tamp at an angle.

We’ve added a subtle taper to the edge of the stainless steel base to break the suction the moment you lift the tool away. It ensures the coffee bed stays perfectly intact without that annoying "vacuum lift" that can crack the puck and cause hidden channeling.

The grip is machined from high-grade aluminum for a balanced, substantial weight, while the tamping surface is solid stainless steel for long-term durability. It’s rated for over 60,000 tamps, so it feels like a permanent, reliable piece of hardware that’s actually built to be used.
